بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الحمد لله رب العالمين , وصلاة والسلام على أشرف المرسلين . أما بعد :
Rain is one of the most important case for life on earth . He is a prerequisite for the continuation of activity somewhere . Rain - which has an important role for all living things , including humans - is mentioned in several verses in the Qur'an about the important information about the rain , levels and effects.
This information , which may not be known to man in his day , shows us that the Qur'an is the word of God merupaka . Now , let us examine the information about the rain contained in the Qur'an.
Rain levels
In the eleventh verse Surat Az - Zukhruf , declared a rain -derived water in a " certain size " . As the verse below :
الذي جعل لكم الأرض مهدا وجعل لكم فيها سبلا لعلكم تهتدون
" And who sends down water from the sky according to the degree ( required ) and then we turn the water off the land , such as that you will be excluded ( from the grave ) . " ( Surah Az - Zukhruf : 11 )
" Levels " mentioned in this verse is one of the characteristics of rain . In general , the amount of rain that fell to earth always the same . An estimated 16 tons of water on earth evaporates every second . This amount is equal to the amount of water that falls to Earth every second . This suggests that rain continuously circulates in a balanced cycle according to the " size " certain.
Other measurements associated with the speed of fall of rain is rain . Minimum height of the cloud is about 12,000 feet . When dropped from this height , an object having the weight and size of raindrops will keep going and fell on the ground with a speed 558km/jam . Obviously , any object that fell with such velocity would result in damage . And when the rain fell in such a way , the whole land will be ruined crops , settlements , housing , vehicles will be damaged , and people were not able to go out without wearing extra protection tool . Moreover , this calculation is made for the height of 12,000 feet , in fact there is a cloud that has a height of only about 10,000 feet . A drop of rain that falls on the height of the course will fall at a speed that can destroy anything .
But not so the occurrence , regardless of the height of the rain fell , the average speed is only about 8-10 km / h when it reaches the ground . This is because rain droplets form very special . Privileged rain droplets form increases the friction effect of the atmosphere and maintain a pace krtika rain droplets reach the " limit " a certain speed . ( Currently , a parachute designed using this technique ) .
Not limited to these " measures " of rain . Another example , the atmospheric layer where the rainfall , the temperature may drop to below zero 400oC . Nevertheless , no rain droplets turn into ice particles . ( This is certainly a deadly threat to all living things on earth . ) Reasons for not freezing rain droplets is due to the water contained in the atmosphere is pure water . As we know , that pure water hardly freezes at very low temperatures though .
formation of Rain
How rain forms remained a mystery to humans in a long time . Only after the discovery of the weather radar , then it is understood the stages of the formation of rain . Rain formation occurs in three stages . First, the " raw material " of rain rises into the air . Then collected into clouds . Finally , the rain droplets appear .
These stages in detail has been written in the Qur'an centuries ago before the conveyed information about the formation of rain :
الله الذي يرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فيبسطه في السماء كيف يشاء ويجعله كسفا فترى الودق يخرج من خلاله فإذا أصاب به من يشاء من عباده إذا هم يستبشرون
" God is the one who sends the winds , and the winds that drive the cloud and God laid it on the sky according to which in kehendakinya , and make it lumpy : then you see the rain come out of the cracks , so if it's raining down on his servants are in kehendakinya , suddenly they become excited . " ( Surat ar - Rum : 48 )
Now , let's look at the three stages mentioned in the Qur'an :
First stage : " God is the one who sends the winds ..... "
Air bubbles formed by countless bubbles in the ocean that constantly broke and cause water particles to be ejected into the air toward the sky . These particles are salt - rich - and then the wind shifted upwards towards the atmosphere . These particles ( called aerosols ) to form clouds by collecting water vapor ( which rose from the sea as droplets by a process known as " JebakanAir " ) around it .
Stage Two : " ..... and then the wind was moving the clouds and God laid it on the sky according to which in kehendakinya , and become lumpy ..... "
Clouds formed from water vapor that condenses around the salt crystals or dust particles in the air . Because the droplets of water here is very small ( with a diameter between 0,01-0,02 mm ) , the clouds float in the air and spread in space . So that the sky is covered with clouds .
Third stage : " .... and then you see the rain come out of the cracks , so if it's raining down . "
Water particles that surround salt crystals and dust particles coagulate and form rain droplets . Thus , these droplets , which become heavier than the air , leaving the clouds and start to fall to the ground as rain .
Each stage in the formation of rain delivered in the Qur'an . What's more , these stages are described in the correct sequence . As with any other natural phenomena in the world , again the Qur'an is what gives the most precise information about this phenomenon , in addition, the Qur'an has told these facts to people centuries before science can reveal it .
